Web Design Tips to Boost Up Your Natural Ranking

Very few industries today are as competitive as the web design industry!  How do web design companies come to be ranked as high as they are?  Companies that offer websites that are well designed and structured from the start to the finish line.  If your goal is to generate revenue from your online business then web design is a very important aspect.  You can do that by running an online advertising campaign or by improving on your natural ranking.

You would want to advertise your business on major search engines like yahoo and Google.  However, you must know how to best optimize your web design to run your online advertising campaign.

(1)  Organize the website: Organize your site according to the theme; however a newcomer may not pay much attention to this as the bonus of his focus is on the look and the feel of their web design.

(2)  Content: You have to convince the Adsense or Yahoo Search Marketing through whom you market the advertising space that the content of your web page would prove to be relevant to them.

(3)  Text relevance and keyword density: This is one more factor on which you need to pay attention.  When you are planning for the web design consider the fact that too many graphics without any text with it will be disadvantageous to you.  Search engines will ignore a web page that has too much graphics on it completely.  For example if your web designing for a tour company then your website can have a tour section, a hotel accommodation section, a currency conversion section, car rental section and in each of these theme based pages the written text should be relevant.  Also it should have a keyword density of not less than 5 per cent.  Thus, it must be your prime objective that the search engines not only rank the home page but also each themed page as illustrated above.  For example, Google gages or extrapolates the relevance of an article from its overall content and the number of times a keyword appears.  

(4)  Use of competitive keywords: Be sure and not to be using competitive keywords.  Show a little creativity with the keywords and phrases.  This can be illustrated in this manner for better results.  Suppose that you are a web design company, and knowing that the key word web design would be very competitive.  Many other companies would be competing to have a good ranking on the search engines.  On the other hand if you use a keyword like “web design Orange County” then the competition would not be as fierce as then the competition would only be local.

The internet is now being utilized so much that all businesses realize that carefully planning their web design is very essential to generate more revenue.  Not only do they recognize that content is key throughout their design, they are finding out that blogs and articles throughout their website designs are crucial as well.  So go out there and experiment with the different ways in that content will change the way that search engines find you and your company.
