This is a question that can have at least two answers. As of the current system in place, the answer is yes. WC3 basically sets up the rules for internet rankings and as such, their guidelines should be followed. The validation process is also important as it will not only validate your site, but also validate it for use on the internet. Any site that doesn’t follow the WC3 rules and guidelines will be taken down per their instructions. Sounds like a monopoly doesn’t it? Well the cold hard fact is that there are rules and regulations about website rankings that they have developed that are fair to all concerned.
Now, on the other side of the coin, you will get people arguing that it doesn’t matter and they will not conform to those rules. While their sites may get up, they will not stay up. WC3 basically controls the internet and their guidelines are important. But that doesn’t stop people from trying to bend the rules or break them. The rule infractions will cause a site to be deactivated and you also run the possibility of being banned from the internet period. Sometimes the rules that WC3 puts up are not easily understood and it can feel like a monopoly.
These rules are put into place so that everyone has a fair chance to be ranked on a search engine. And the validation of these pages allow for them to be used on the internet. The rules that validate search engines, at this point are a guideline for these pages. This is the way to set up pages for website rankings. They have done years of research on the best way to validate a business website so that it can be ranked by Google and other search engines.
So the validation process is important for the successful ranking of a web site, no matter which engine ranks it. It can’t be stressed enough that what the WC3 mandates as far as these pages are concerned is the right way to do business and still be included on the search engines. Validation simply means that all parts conform to WC3 standards and are working properly. If you have a page that isn’t in line with the validation, then you will be stuck until you write the page properly for validation. That is just how it is.
So the true answer, to the evidence given is yes, the WC3 mandates are very important when it comes to validation of websites. These rules need to be followed especially when you are talking about commercial or corporation web pages. Those are the pages that the rules were mostly written for anyway. If you have a validated website, especially in the commercial areas then it can be immediately placed on an engine for ranking. The validation simply means that it has passed WC3 standards for ranking on the Web. This will only help you if your page is WC3 compliant. This means that you will have no trouble getting ranked.
